Kerrisdale

A Vibrant and Historic Community

Kerrisdale’s mature tree-lined streets, human-scaled buildings, and low density make it Vancouver’s most charming and valuable neighbourhood. Residents can be assured that this family-oriented village-style neighbourhood ambiance will never change, thanks to zoning that prevents high-density, high-rise development.

Kerrisdale offers dining options for every palate and pocketbook. In the mood for sushi? Ajisai is one of the first and best omakase sushi bars in Vancouver.

No other shop embodies Kerrisdale’s family-friendly nature more than Blara Organics, home of organic and sustainable luxury children’s clothing.

The Greenway Effect

Living near green space doesn’t just improve your health and wellbeing, it’s also a smart long-term investment. Along New York City’s High Line, property values doubled when the former train trestle was converted to a 2.3-kilometre-long park. At 9 kilometres long, the Arbutus Greenway almost quadruples the size of the High Line and connects all of Vancouver – making it the city’s largest linear park, and the safest and most beautiful way to travel across Vancouver, water to water.

HARVEST TABLE
(W 6TH AVE TO W BROADWAY)

A nod to Vancouver’s agricultural past, the Harvest Table section features community gardens and plenty of seating for dining alfresco or enjoying the greenery. From Carven, it’s only five kilometres to quaint beachside Kitsilano and, from there, to Vancouver’s 28-kilometre seawall – the world’s longest uninterrupted waterfront path.

THE RIDGE & WOODLAND BEND
(W 16TH AVE TO W 37TH AVE)

South of West 16th Avenue, the Greenway widens to offer striking mountain vistas framed by old-growth trees and a sustainable landscape supporting native pollinators. With more than 175,000 trees, Vancouver is one of the greenest, healthiest, and most resilient cities in the world.

KERRYDALE PASS
(W 37TH AVE TO W 49TH AVE)

Carven’s front yard. As the heart of both Kerrisdale and the Greenway, the future expansion of Kerrydale Pass will feature coffee kiosks, art installations, and a vibrant public plaza for gatherings, performances, and community events – all just a short walk from Kerrisdale Village.

GARDEN PATH
(W 49TH AVE TO W 57TH AVE)

Along the pastoral Garden Path, planned native landscapes, edible gardens, and green infrastructure preserve and protect Vancouver’s biodiversity, strengthen the local ecosystem, and fill the air with the relaxing sounds of nature.

MARPOLE MEANDER & THE LOOKOUT
(W 57TH AVE TO SW MARINE DR)

Carven Residents can follow this section of the Greenway to the Fraser River, just three kilometers away. Rich in wildlife and greenery, Marpole Meander & The Lookout will feature family-friendly recreational activities like badminton courts, ping pong tables, and an iconic tower treating visitors to spectacular ocean views.
